How can an Application Form be obtained?

Beginning the Wednesday after Labor Day, Application Forms will be available for download online (using the link below). Requests made by phone or fax will no longer be honored. Completed Application Forms, together with the application fee of 75.00 should be mailed back to the Nursery, and are not to be dropped off in person.

When is the deadline for submitting applications?

The deadline for submitting applications for classes for the 2017-2018 school year is October 30, 2016.

What happens after an application is processed?

Once a completed application is received by the school, the Admissions office will contact families to schedule their family visit. Family visits are scheduled starting from October through mid-February. Sibling family visits are scheduled from November to early December.

Who is expected to come on the tour/visit?

Parents with their child.

What transpires during the visit?

Tours are conducted by staff members in small groups of two to three families at a time. The tour involves a walk through the building, and may include a time for the visiting children to join a class at play. The children are not separated from their parents; a casual and comfortable interview transpires spontaneously as the tour is in progress.
Additional question and answer sessions may be conducted after the tour.

How long does a visit/tour last?

Approximately 45 minutes.

Are first-choice letters required?

First choice letters are not required.

Which program should parents apply to, for their child? (Full-Day or Half-Day, Morning or Afternoon Session)

It is up to the parent to decide which program to apply to, depending on their needs. There are Full Day Classes for ages 2-5; Morning classes for age 2; Afternoon classes for age 3.

Does being in the Full Day mean that the child has to be in by 8:00 a.m., and stay till 5:30 p.m.?

No. Drop-off time for Full Day is from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m. Pick- up time is from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Drop off time for Half Day Morning Session is from 8:45 – 9:00 a.m., Pick up time is at 12:00 noon. Drop off time for Afternoon Session is from 1:15- 1:30; Pick up time is at 4:30.

When will parents be notified of their child’s admission status?

Admission notifications for siblings are sent out in the second week of January. Admission notifications for new families are sent out between the last week of February and the first week of March.
